2024-2025 SPRING SEMESTER VISA EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT

Our School's 2024-2025 SPRING Term Midterm Exams, as previously announced in our Academic Calendar, will be held on 22-23 MARCH 2025 in the Faculty of Engineering New Amphitheatre Building, Amphitheatre and Classrooms at Trakya University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadeniz Campus in Edirne, the province where our School is located.

Organization of Midterm Exams:
The organization, implementation and evaluation of the exams are carried out by the Tunca Vocational School Directorate.
Date and Time of Midterm Exams:
Our students will take the Spring Term Midterm Exams on Saturday - Sunday, 22-23 MARCH 2025. Morning sessions start at 10:00 and afternoon sessions start at 14:00. (Since exam documents for sessions cannot be opened outside the specified exam time, our students' requests to change sessions will not be met.)
Our students must print out the Exam Entry Document that will be included in this announcement and come to the exam.
No documents regarding the location where our students will take the exam will be sent to their addresses.
During the 22-23 MARCH 2025 Midterm exams, accommodation procedures (reservations etc.) in Edirne will be carried out by our students themselves.
Our school will not make any accommodation or reservation procedures.

Exam Rules
Students may use calculators during the exam; however, they are prohibited from using advanced calculators (with commands such as run, exe) that allow programs to be created, stored and run on them.
Students must not have OPEN mobile phones, radios, pagers, computers, tablets, smart watches etc. communication devices and image recording devices such as cameras or camcorders in the exam halls. These types of devices must be kept in bags in a closed state. Any attempt to use these devices during the exam will result in the student's exam being considered invalid.
Students should not bring a weapon into the exam building, even if it is licensed.
It is forbidden to enter the exam in official uniform, except for privates and non-commissioned officers who have permission.
Documents Required to Take the Exam:
i) Exam Entry Document: This is the document that students obtain by searching on the Tunca Vocational School website and shows where the student will take the exam.

ii) Photo and Approved Identity Document: Any of the following: National Identity Card, Driver's License, Valid Passport or Student ID Card.
About the Application and Evaluation of Midterm Exams
Midterm Exams will be held as multiple choice tests for each course except for project courses. Exams for old curriculum courses will be held using the classical method.
Two types of documents will be used in the exams: question booklet and optical answer sheet. An exam question booklet and optical answer sheet will be given for the specified courses in each session. The answers to the exam questions of each course must be marked in the column where the name of that course is written. Markings made in the wrong column will definitely not be evaluated. Be sure to code the column reserved for the relevant course on the answer sheet and where the name of the course is clearly written. Do not forget to mark the type of your question booklet (A and B booklet) on the optical answer sheet.
In the evaluation of the answers, points will be given to the correct answers, and wrong answers will not cancel the correct answers. Therefore, it is in the interest of the students not to leave the questions in the question booklets unanswered. In the exams, the evaluation is made out of 100 full marks for each course and each question is given equal weight. When the number of correct answers is multiplied by the point value of a question, the raw score of that course's exam is found. If an error is detected in the exam questions during the exams, the situation will be evaluated by our Board of Directors, and if deemed necessary, the question will be cancelled and the point value of the question will be added to the exam grade of all students taking the exam.
Answer sheets are read at least twice in a controlled manner with an optical reader in a computer environment. Computer methods are used in the evaluation of exams, recording and storing of grades and announcing them to students.
Our disabled students with a health report can request to take the exam in a separate classroom where a special supervisor is assigned and where they can receive support, by informing the Exam Coordinator on the day of the exam or by e-mail to tuncamyo@trakya.edu.tr before the exam day. Necessary measures have been taken to prevent any situation that may negatively affect the exams of these students.
